Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Competition Training in Miami Lakes
The level of intensity and rigor required for training in preparation for a tournament is usually greater than the effort used in recreational training. Therefore, we offer a supplemental format of Competition Training for the students at Rilion Gracie Jiu-Jitsu of Miami Lakes.
Competition Training Team
The Competition Team trains together and prepares as a group to compete at venues such as IBJJF Pan Kid’s, Jiu-Jitsu World League, Newbreed and JitzKings. Coaching at the tournaments which the team prepares for as a group is provided.

Training Team for children
For children, we run a Competition Team which has its own sparring sessions many times per week. The Competition Team also has its own in-house Wrestling Classes and Strength and Conditioning sessions at an athletic facility nearby.
Training Team for adults
For adults, our noon classes offer extended periods of rolling/sparring and are frequented by many of the competitors which train at our school.
Competition Training Schedule
Evening classes on Mondays and Wednesday also emphasize a higher level of physical intensity. Tuesday and Thursday evening No-Gi classes are also a very popular time to find competitors/athletes on the mat.
